MERGER, a story and a group

Inventing the industrial transmissions of tomorrow

MERGER has been developing its expertise since 1947. During the post-war boom, the company grew rapidly and manufactured hundreds of thousands of transmission components , including geared motors, speed reducers , speed multipliers , right-angle drives , and industrial gearboxes.

In the 90s, the company refocused its efforts on high value -added applications such as nuclear , steel , and maritime industries . Following a strategy of synergy, the LEGOFF Group acquired MERGER in 2014 to complement its expertise in the manufacturing , remanufacturing , and maintenance of high-power speed reducers.

A latest generation factory

In 2022, MERGER aims to establish itself within a framework of high -quality French mechanical expertise . We are equipping ourselves with an independent production facility in Corbas ( 69 ):

An optimized production unit that is part of the National Low Carbon Strategy:

– Installation of lifting gantries and tables at workstations, bright 2,000 m² workshops, optimization of storage and logistics of mechanical components.

– Heavy-duty overhead cranes of 10 tonnes designed to handle gearboxes weighing up to 25 tonnes.

An organization designed to facilitate cross-functional communication:

– At MERGER , we place communication and exchange at the heart of the quality of our solutions: the layout of our premises and our equipment are designed to facilitate exchanges between the sales departments, our design office and our workshop.
